    Prices displayed reflect the average in-store, pre-tax, per unit prices for this retailer in your area based on available data feeds, subject to delays and errors. Prices and availability can change without notice. Actual in-store prices at the time a purchase is made, including those for weighted items, may differ from those available through the Instacart platform.

  • What is included in estimated taxes and fees?

    At check-out, we provide you with an estimate of the sales tax and any other applicable fees and taxes, such as bottle deposits and bag fees. These are the sames types of fees that you would pay in the physical store. Final taxes and fees will be included in your receipt after your order is picked and delivered.

  • Do you honor in-store sales or coupons?

    We do not honor in-store sales and coupons.

    There are, however, sales and promotions that are available that may not be available in-store.

    To see what discounts are available for a particular store, you can:

  • What is Busy Pricing?

    Busy Pricing is a fee that applies specifically to delivery times that are in high demand. By charging more for delivery during these times, customers can depend on our service being available when they need it while having the option of choosing a lower priced delivery slot as well.

    Why is there Busy Pricing?

    Our #1 priority is to provide our customers with an amazing and reliable experience. Busy Pricing allows us to keep more delivery times open and make our service available to you during the busiest parts of the day.

    How much is Busy Pricing?

    We currently charge a bit more for delivery with Busy Pricing. The exact amount depends on how busy we are and other factors.

    How can I avoid paying Busy Pricing?

    You will be much more likely to pay standard delivery fees if you are able to schedule your delivery in advance.

    How will I know how much I am paying for my delivery?

    Your delivery fee will be displayed clearly when you select a delivery time. Delivery fees that include Busy Pricing are noted.

    Does Busy Pricing change the price of my items?

    No, Busy Pricing only affects the delivery fee and will never affect the price of your groceries.

    My order was late but I paid for Busy Pricing. Can I have my money back?

    Yes! If your order is delivered late and you paid for Busy Pricing, we will automatically refund your Busy Pricing fee. The regular delivery fee will still apply to your order.

  • Why didn’t the amount of my service amount change when the cost of my order ended up being less?

    We calculate the service amount percentage based on the initial dollar amount of your order. We feel that the same amount of time and care is taken by your shopper, even if a few items may be replaced, added or refunded! 

  • Why is there a 10% service amount on my order?

    The service amount defaults to 10% of your order total, but you are able to remove the amount or select a different amount before you finish placing your order. Once your order has been placed, you will no longer be able to adjust the service amount. In order to do this, please click Change below the green Place Order button on the right hand side of the checkout page.

    The service amount you pay is used by Instacart to provide high guaranteed commissions to shoppers through the Instacart platform. However, this payment is not a tip and won’t go directly to the shopper who delivered your order.

     

     

  • Where do my tips go?

    Your tips go directly to the people who are fulfilling and delivering your order. Depending on the region of your delivery, the tips are either given to your personal shopper or delivery driver. You're always welcome to tip through the app or our website before or after the delivery is made.

  • Can I return bottles to my delivery driver and get my bottle deposit refund?

    At this time you can’t return bottles through your delivery driver.

  • What is included in estimated taxes and fees?

    At check-out, we provide you with an estimate of the sales tax and any other applicable fees and taxes, such as bottle deposits and bag fees. These are the sames types of fees that you would pay in the physical store. Final taxes and fees will be included in your receipt after your order is picked and delivered.

  • Do Instacart Coupon prices also apply to replacement items?

    If an item you ordered is out of stock and a replacement was delivered in its place, the coupon discount will not be applicable to the replacement item.

  • What are Instacart Coupons?

    Instacart Coupons are manufacturer’s coupons that are automatically applied to qualifying products upon purchase to help our users save money on the products they love.

  • How much does delivery cost?

    The delivery fee depends on the size of your order and the delivery time that you choose. The specific delivery fee for your order will be displayed when you choose a delivery time during checkout before you place your order.

    When we experience high demand for a delivery time, a Busy Pricing fee may apply in addition to the delivery fee. Busy Pricing is also shown clearly at checkout.
